Let our creative instructors design a dance especially for you, a dance that reflects your style, a dance that lets your personality come through. Every plan is custom tailored to meet your budget, schedule, and venue. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor. From beginners to experienced dancers, from Foxtrot to Swing and everything in between, our Wedding Dance service is a great way to prepare, and you’ll have memorable moments to share. (We rhymed!)
Custom music editing is included in our service. Be sure to ask about our choreography for your attendants’ flash mob performance or your parents’ special dance. Need some party line dances for your reception? We can help. Need dance leaders at your reception to get the party started? We’ll get them out of their seats and on the floor. If you can imagine it, we can do it!

All Wedding Dance packages include professional music editing to create your perfect song!
Lessons are 45 minutes in length. Please allow time to warm-up and change out of your street shoes. Wear sneakers, flats, or dance shoes to your first lesson. Do bring your wedding shoes to eventually practice in.
We do occasionally offer reduced rates in the off season. Please inquire!

They were also able to cut our music so it was formatted exactly how we wanted it. We were nervous about dancing in front of our friends and family at our wedding, so we turned to this dance studio to learn a routine for our first dance as husband and wife... and they delivered!
The instructors treated us with professionalism and respect and were great at working with us as beginners. They took the time to make sure we understood the moves and helped us figure out the timing of each move with the music. They also provided us with a cut version of our song for us to provide to our DJ.
Most of all, though, we had a lot of fun learning different steps and really enjoyed our classes. We highly recommend this studio and thank them for giving us the confidence we needed for our first dance!

My fiancee and I wanted to do something a little more fun than the high school 2 step for our first dance, so we decided to look into getting a few lessons to learn some basics. Unfortunately, we procrastinated until about a month or so before our wedding. Luckily, Wedding Dance Pittsburgh was more than happy to accommodate us. Brittany got us set up for an appointment with our choreographer Kristina quickly, and quoted us a package she thought would work well for us. Kristina was very nice, and really did a great job of tailoring the lessons to our skill levels. In lesson or two, we could see what her vision for the dance was, and it was very fun to challenge ourselves each lesson to learn a new set of moves to keep building the dance. She kept things light, and if we were getting frustrated she’d change it up to something we could find more success with.
We did a total of 5 lessons, using 4 to build our dance and the last one being just to review what we had learned. We practiced a couple of times by ourselves between lessons, which definitely helped, but Kristina’s choreography wasn’t crazy to get. The studio even trimmed our first dance song down so it wouldn’t be too long.
Our first dance went off without a hitch, and we had quite a lot of fun doing it. We couldn’t recommend Wedding Dance Pittsburgh enough! Thank you, Kristina and Brittany!
