Ricci-Lee Hotz, MS, RDN, LDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who completed her dietetic internship and master’s degree in nutrition through Arizona State University.  Through her practice, A Taste of Health, Ricci-Lee offers nutrition counseling for a wide variety of disease states ranging from eating disorders and gastrointestinal conditions to sports/dance performance, obesity and weight management through virtual care. Ricci-Lee’s philosophy of nutrition is unique in that she focuses on providing evidence-based, INDIVIDUALIZED nutrition recommendations that emphasize moderation, variety, and how to fit patients’ favorite foods into a healthy eating lifestyle for their specific goals. This can improve quality of life for many individuals who feel they must restrict certain foods in order to be healthy or lose weight. In addition, for those individuals who cannot tolerate all foods based on their medical condition, Ricci-Lee will be able to provide advice on which foods need to be eliminated, which foods they can still eat, and necessary supplementation to ensure the individual is receiving optimal nutrition. Ricci-Lee works with individuals of all ages and also offers counseling for athletes from football players to to dancers who are looking to optimize their performance. In addition to Ricci-Lee’s love for nutrition and overall healthy lifestyle, she is a professional American Rhythm competitor and ballroom dance instructor for all styles, while also competing pro-am with her students. Because of her experience and love for competing as a professional dancer as well as teaching dance, Ricci-Lee has a special passion for providing dancers of all ages, skill levels, and goals the information they need to fuel their bodies properly to reach their goals, perform at their best, stay healthy, and understand the importance of positive body image and the tools to maintain that while still promoting healthy nutrition choices.
